In addition to public health care service, the University Medical Centre of Ljubljana also provides private self-paid health care services for domestic and foreign patients. You can access almost any medical speciality with no delay or excessive waiting period.

1. Division Of Paediatrics

The division of paediatrics is implementing diagnostics and treatment of children and young people under the age of 18. Individual departments are implementing self-paying services upon prior arrangement. The modern well equipped building is located on Bohoričeva Street 20.

2. Division Of Internal Medicine

Division of internal medicine is the largest clinic in the University Medical Centre of Ljubljana. Its departments cover all fields of internal medicine and it is centrally located at Zaloška Street 7.

3. Division Of Gynaecology

The gyneacology clinic is implementing services in the field of gynaecology and obstetrics. Department is located at Šlajmerjeva Street 3.

4. Department Of Orthopaedic Surgery

Department of Orthopaedic Surgery consists of sub-departments for endoprosthesis, arthoscopy of lager joints, spinal surgery, foot surgery, reconstructive procedures and tumor surgery.

The date of the procedure outside regular working hours is determined individually in agreement with the surgeon. 

We perform the surgeries from the whole specter of orthopaedic pathology:

• endoprosthesis of the hip / knee
• spinal surgery
• arthoscopy (knee, hip, shoulder, ankle, elbow);
• reconstructive procedures for larger joints (cruciate ligament, multiple-ligament knee injury, rotator cuff reconstruction, elbow…);
• foot surgery (halux valgus, rigidus, hammertoe…);
• children's orthopaedy;
• tumor surgery for the spine, pelvis girdle, upper and lower extremities;
• link to information on the procedures.

Above standard accommodation for hospital treatment at the Orthopaedic clinic is also possible.
