Call 112 for emergency medical service

112 is the emergency number you should call if you require:

• emergency medical service,
• fire department,
• emergency veterinary service,
• mountain rescue teams,
• cave rescue teams,
• other emergency response units or police.

Whenever you require police emergency assistance you call the emergency number - 113.

When calling

Try to remain calm, the emergency medical dispatcher will lead you through the call using the key questions.

Answer to the emergency medical dispatcher’s questions clearly, so that we can send the right kind of emergency response as quickly as possible

Never argue with the emergency medical dispatcher and do not hang up until the emergency medical dispatcher tells you to do so.

While waiting for the emergency response team, be available at the number that you communicated to the dispatcher!
